Cobb Energy Centre

The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre is home to The Atlanta Opera, Atlanta Ballet, and the ArtsBridge Foundation, as well as being a venue for broadway, ballet, concerts, events, etc. Features include 2,750 seats in John A Williams theater, 10,000 sq ft ballroom, terrace, 1000 parking spaces, and food and beverage.

Historic Marietta Square

50 Park Square, Marietta, GA 30060

People come from all over to dine, explore, and shop at this historic spot. In the center of the park is a fountain, famous for picture taking. Adjacent to the fountain is the Bandstand stage where concerts are held. With over 30 restaurants, there's something for everyone. There are so many shops here that you can shop til you drop! There’s always something going on at the Square.

Gone With The Wind Museum

472 Powder Springs St SW, Marietta, GA 30064

Located at historic Brumby Hall, this museum was created for celebrating the Margaret Mitchell novel and film by showcasing costumes and memorabilia. This venue is also available for hosting events; bridal showers, weddings, birthday parties, etc. Open Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm.

Marietta Museum of History

1 Depot St, Marietta, GA 30060

Originally built in 1845, this building is dedicated to preserving history. It’s galleries and exhibits showcase collections from General History, Home Life, and Military. Open 10 am - 4 pm Monday - Saturday for walk-ins and also available reservations for group tours. Check out their website for upcoming events.

Marietta Cobb Museum of Art

30 Atlanta St SE, Marietta, GA 30060

This museum showcases exhibits as well as hosts classes, workshops, open draw, art talks, and summer camps. Also available to the public are events such as Chalktoberfest, Cruise with the Museum, Martinis and Music, and Opening reception.

Museum of Aviation

1942 Heritage Blvd, Robins AFB, GA 31098

Holding the record of the second-largest aerospace museum of the United States Air Force, this museum was made to demonstrate the history of Robins Air Force Base by educating visitors. The museum also holds events such as Planes & Pilates, GA Invitational Golf Tournament, and Thunder Over Georgia Air Show. They will also host birthday parties and events for the public.

Six Flags Over Georgia

275 Riverside Pkwy, Austell, GA 30168

Covering over 290-acres, this theme park has 11 roller coasters, 30+ rides, shows, and attractions, as well as a 7-acre water park. Open March - January, this park is full of visitors almost every day. If rides aren’t your forte, there’s other entertainment, shops, and tons of food.

Six Flags White Water

250 Cobb Pkwy N, Marietta, GA 30062

Becoming part of Six Flags in 1999, White Water is now a 69-acre water park. Recently added rides Wahoo Racer and Dive Bomber, this is the summer spot to be.

The Art Place

3330 Sandy Plains Rd, Marietta, GA 30066

The Art Place is a place that encourages fine art programs. They offer classes, camps, theater productions, outdoor concerts, etc. Located on the corner of Johnson Ferry and Paper Mill Road.

Atlanta Braves' Suntrust Park & The Battery

755 Battery Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30339

Home of the Atlanta Braves, this brand new park, costing $672 M,  provides way more than a baseball stadium. While SunTrust Park brings in the baseball lovers, the Battery is for...well, everybody else. The Battery is home of entertainment, including everything from Poke bowls to Virtual reality.

Chattahoochee River National Recreation Areas

1978 Island Ford Pkwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30350

Home to 20+ species of fish, frogs, 190 species of birds, deer, fox, coyote, etc. this is the spot for your inner Steve Irwin. Here you can fish, float, hike up to 48 miles of river and 15 land units. There are also REI Outdoor School classes and Kayak classes available.

East Cobb Park

3322 Roswell Rd, Marietta, GA 30068

Spanning over 20-acres, this park features grass fields, reservable pavilions, walking trails, creeks, outdoor stage, picnic tables with grills, outdoor classroom, and playground. The park is open every day from 7 am - 10 pm. 

Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park

900 Kennesaw Mnt Dr, Kennesaw, GA 30152

Covering 2,965 acres, this National Park preserves a Civil War battleground. You can learn more about the history when visiting by meeting with a ranger, reading the signs along the trail, and explore the museum.  While this is a perfect place to hike, its also a great place for a picnic or birdwatching.

Lake Acworth

Stretching over 260-acres, this man-made lake connects to Proctor Creek and Lake Allatoona. There are around 18 species of fish found in the lake, but make sure you have a fishing license if you plan on casting your rod. Their public parks are open from 7 am - 11 pm.

Lake Allatoona

Lake Allatoona is a man-made lake developed for flood control, hydropower generation, fish and wildlife management, and recreation and water supply. Spread over 270 miles this lake is also meant for fun; camping, boating, kayaking, swimming, etc.

Laurel Park

151 Manning Rd SW, Marietta, GA 30060

Laurel Park is 25-acres including 13 lighted tennis courts, multipurpose fields, picnic areas, volleyball court, duck ponds, paved track, and a playground. Also available are pavilions available to be rented out for events. Open to the public every day from 6 am - 11 pm. 

Silver Comet Trail

Running 61.5 miles long, starting at the Mavell Road Trailhead and ending at the Georgia/Alabama line near the Esom Hill Trailhead. This free paved trail is welcoming to walkers, hikers, bikers, horses, dog walkers, and is wheelchair accessible.

Sope Creek Nature Trails

Located on the Chattahoochee River, the Sope Creek Trail runs alongside the ruins of stacked-stone from the Civil War. This trail is around 1.5 miles and perfect to bring your pup for a hike.

Avenue East Cobb

With over 43 stores, this outdoor shopping center allows a different shopping experience. Some of the most popular stores are Banana Republic, Bath & Body Works, Sephora, and Gap. Shopping isn't the only purpose of these avenues, they have plenty of restaurants; Stockyard Burgers and Bones, Tin Lizzy's, Kale Me Crazy, and Smallcakes.  

Avenue West Cobb

3625 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064

The Avenue West Cobb allows an outdoor shopping experience with a variety of retailers, restaurants, and services. Some popular stores here are Sunglass Hut, Victoria's Secret, American Eagle, and James Avery. As for restaurants, Chili's, Panera Bread, and Macaroni Grill are available to fill you up.

Cumberland Mall

Located in the Metropolitan Atlanta area near the suburbs, this mall features over 134 stores and services. On the exterior, there is Maggiano's Little Italy, The Cheesecake Factory, Stoney River Legendary Steaks, and Teds Montana Grill. The mall is also connected to the Cobb Galleria Centre.

Town Center at Cobb

With over 175 stores and services, this regional shopping center is a major retail hub in northern Cobb. There have been constant renovations to this mall over the years. On top of all the stores, there is a food court and kids zone.
