Acworth, Georgia

Acworth will always feel like home to me because it’s where my journey in Georgia began. When we moved here in 1994, we bought our first single-family home in the Brookstone community, a place filled with great neighbors and beautiful homes.

Downtown Acworth has so much charm, with cozy boutiques and family-owned restaurants. One of our favorites is Henry’s Louisiana Grill, where the food is as warm and welcoming as the atmosphere. For a true taste of Southern comfort, we also love Daddy’s, a quaint spot serving everything from fried catfish to peach cobbler.

One of the best things about Acworth is its lakes. Lake Acworth and Lake Allatoona are perfect for picnics, beach days, and water activities. I’ll never forget the many afternoons we spent enjoying the sandy shores and the beauty of the lakes.

Acworth’s location near Atlanta makes it an ideal place to live—it’s close to the city but still offers the peacefulness of a lakefront town. It’s truly the best of both worlds.
