Marietta, Georgia

Marietta has been home to my family for over five years, and I can honestly say it’s one of the most vibrant and welcoming communities I’ve ever experienced. Located just northwest of Atlanta, Marietta combines small-town charm with the convenience of a larger city.

One of my favorite spots is the historic Marietta Square, where we love to spend weekends enjoying the amazing restaurants, shops, and festivals. Two of our go-to dining spots are Mac Chophouse and L on North—both offer fantastic food and a cozy atmosphere. There are always new restaurants and exciting developments popping up, keeping the Square lively and fresh.

We also look forward to Chalktoberfest every October. This unique event draws artists and visitors from all over the world to create stunning chalk art while enjoying craft beers and live entertainment. It’s one of the many things that makes Marietta feel like a true community.

For outdoor enthusiasts, Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is just a short drive away, with over 22 miles of hiking trails and gorgeous views. And when we need a quick escape, Marietta’s location makes it easy to head to the mountains, catch a Braves game at Truist Park, or hop on a flight from the nearby airport. It’s the perfect balance of history, nature, and modern convenience.
